About Us:

Pete and I are both retired. Pete the Pilot/Tech Guy is retired from Airborne Express and Cheri the mom/volunteer/teacher is retired from those positions as well. We have been married for 45 years and have been boating and sailing around Massachusetts for many years. Pete had heard about The Great Loop many years ago and after retiring had mentioned it to Cheri in earnest. Covid found us doing lots of research. We joined America’s Great Loop Cruisers Association (AGLCA) which provided a wealth of knowledge. We were able to learn so much by accessing their various Podcasts, reading a Daily Email Forum, and attending a “Virtual” Rendezvous. In 2021 after lots of research looking at boats virtually online and visiting boats in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Ohio, we left Blow Boating as they refer to sailing and went to the dark side and purchased a 42′ 2006 Cruiser’s Motor Yacht Power Boat. Our goal is to complete America’s Great Loop!
